2006-02-07 - 5:47 p.m. Reading Currently I’m all caught up in George R.R. Martin’s “A Song of Ice and Fire” series. There was a time when I read mostly science fiction & fantasy, but I rarely do anymore. What a treat this series has been! It has even affected my dreaming. I’m also reading Vimala Rodger’s “Your Handwriting Can Change Your Life” which was a gift from my dear friend Marta. The self-help books never really grab me though there are some that have caught my interest and Marta was right on the money with this one. Then again, I’ve always had an interest in handwriting and writing utensils, and lord knows I experimented with all types of handwriting. Handwriting analysis is way cool. You know what’s funny? As I got older my writing started to look like my mother’s! Also? My brother’s signature is the same as my father’s. Scary! Toting, but not yet reading: “Cash” the autobiography of Johnny Cash. Oh, I’m hot to get started. Too many books and not enough time. In fact, I’ve got a serious backlog. Dang I have a stack of unread books and I’m about to order some more. The boyfried just called and is on his way home. The “ETA Call” I name it. My mind starts to wander and I’m looking at my Sally figurine from The Cat in the Hat who is lying prone on my desk with her legs up in the air. It wasn’t supposed to be kinky, but the bitch wouldn’t stand, okay? Anyway, I notice one of my spare Homies who also has a problem standing lying flat on his back. PUT AN EVIL BUBBLE THOUGHT HERE. Yes, I put the Homie between her leg and he is kissing her just below her shoe. Remind me to get rid of this set-up before the kids come to visit, will ya?
