it would be really nice to hear from you;
unless you were dead; then it'd be scary.
make it public! sign my guestbook.

2008-08-08 - 6:07 p.m. nanny one of my favorite times with my grandmother was having sunday dinner. it meant a trek, since she lived far away, but we visited her regularly. What drew me in? Chicken soup! There was always a pot boiling with noodles and chicken pieces on the side, so you could take as much as you wanted. Then? The buttered rolls. I thank my grandmother for introducing me to sweet butter in a tub. So easy to spread, so nice on a buttered roll with chicken soup just as you like it. What's your favorite grandmother memory? I should note that sometimes my grandmother also made a spagetti dinner, which was nice, but paled in the light of chicken soup. Further, I must mention that Easter was big, with, special kielbala excursions and babke, and well, i can't address that now. just curious.
