since my last entry was about my mother, let's have another. today is the 17th anniversary of her death. it took me 5 long years to stop torturing myself over missing her, and another 10 or 11 years to come to some kind of peace on this significant date.
i haven't cried so far, and i'm hoping i won't. i rather like the imagery from my last entry as an alternate remembrance.
