Cross-eyed? No cross-stitch! A couple of weeks ago, I picked up a cross-stitch project I put down quite some time ago. I’ve discovered it’s best to work on it when I’m wearing my “progressive” glasses instead of my contacts or my contacts and reading glasses. Since I’m working on the project at all times, even my spare moments at work, I’ve been wearing my glasses exclusively. My contacts make my vision swim. I miss them, but I’m definitely enjoying better vision. The only drawback to my glasses is the lack of faith I have when navigating steps. Man, is that scary. Given the magnitude of the project, I anticipate wearing my glasses forever. Jeez, I swore I would never do another cross-stitch. Right now though, I’m almost beginning to see a little bit of progress, which will get me through to the next bad section where I’m sure I’ll be cussing like a sailor.

Hey, it’s great for keeping you sober. Remember, you can’t cross-eyed cross-stitch.
