A client was visiting from Argentina, the other day. She left me a delicious gift. She shows up at least twice a year, and always has a gift for me. This visit I had the opportunity to go home or stay. Went home, and missed her by a minute. (She understands, said she’ll see me in November.) She left me some carefully packaged truffles from teuschers chocolates. The packaging was gorgeous, like a carefully wrapped floral display inside red paper inside a red bag, carefully containing about 6 of the best truffles ever. Really. The boyfried has sworn to seek the store out. Little does he know the price! Knowing him, he’d pay it. Anyways, it’s about $64 a pound. OUCH. You can trust that unless I get stupid happy drunk and start feeling indulgent, I’m not buying them. The truffles were delicious though, I must say.
