Old Gray Mare
The hormones are clearly out of control. My forehead (or should I say fivehead, since it’s quite large) has been plagued by tiny eruptions with the threat of new volcanoes to come, never mind the endless difficult to pluck hairs that are besieging my unibrow, chin, and yes indeed even the inner corners of my eyes. Besides that? I damaged a nerve in my back last week while blow drying my hair. All I did was slightly bend and turn and WHOMP! Extreme pain in the back which incapacitated me for a few seconds together with a dull ache in my hip/leg joint which makes it difficult to exercise, sit in this chair, sleep, etc. Funny though? My chair at work is comfortable, but the walking is painful. Since I mostly sit on my fat ass, it’s not too much of a problem, eh? My heating pad is my best friend.
All that being said, life is good. I really do try every day to stay happy with whatever tricks I can find up my sleeve.
However? The old gray mare, she ain’t what she used to be. And that’s okay too.
