Doing Pete
Pete is one of my old poker pals. He’s laid up in the hospital right now with internal bleeding and twelve clamps or so trying to stop the flow. I called him up last night, and he sounded awful, right up until I told him about doing the “pete.” Then he laughed himself silly, I was happy that I made him laugh, then I told him to get some rest.
Doing the pete? Play poker. Bet on the first round; doesn’t matter if you have anything. Next round? RAISE!!!!. You get me drift. Pete is a mad crazy poker person, and I can’t wait for him to be better and start playing again.
