it would be really nice to hear from you;
unless you were dead; then it'd be scary.

2006-01-04 - 5:53 p.m. What time is it? I don’t know. My watch battery died as I was leaving my job for vacation and I decided not to renew it. It’s not that I’m vain, but I’ve always thought women’s watches are ugly, even the dressy ones, yet? I have always been addicted to wearing a watch. It has taken some getting used to – I still find myself looking at my wrist for the time often, but I don’t miss it in the least. Men wearing watches don’t bother me, go figure. In fact, I appreciate a nice watch on a man. Perhaps I will see a lot of nice watches when I ask men for the time. I stopped wearing my rings when I lost weight and they swam, although now I’m sure they would fit again, but other than earrings, which I’m currently not wearing either, because, DAMMIT, I lose one of every earring I ever possess, I don’t wear jewelry, although I have worn a bracelet or necklace a few times over my lifetime. I’m feeling simply beautiful in my nakedness. Does anyone know what time it is?
